Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Natalia Patterns (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit nataliarecipes.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Newsletter sign-ups. When you join the Pattern Club we store the name, email address, crochet experience level and favourite pattern types you enter, so we can send you new free patterns.
- Messages you send us. When you use the contact form on the Crochet Help page we store your name, email address, topic and message so we can reply.
- Information stored in your browser. The Site saves small preferences on your own device: your cookie choice, which pattern rounds you have ticked off, and whether you have already been counted on a pattern’s “made this” counter. This stays in your browser and is not sent to us.
- Technical data. Like every website, our hosting provider and content delivery network automatically receive your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is used to deliver and protect the Site (for example, to block automated attacks).
Advertising and Google AdSense
The Site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, as required by law.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep the Site working (for example, remembering your cookie choice). Optional cookies, including advertising cookies, are only used as described above. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this Site’s cookies in your browser, and you can block cookies entirely in your browser settings (some features may then stop working).
How we use your information
- To send the newsletter you asked for, and to answer your messages.
- To run, secure and improve the Site.
- To show advertising that keeps every pattern free.
We never sell your personal information. We only share it with the service providers that host and operate the Site (such as our web host) and with advertising partners as described above.
How long we keep it
Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to answer you, and then deleted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act) you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To make a request, email us at hello@nataliarecipes.com.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Patterns and pages may link to other websites, such as Pinterest or yarn shops. Their privacy practices are their own; please read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
