Method
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut into 4 equal sections.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on each dough section, leaving edges clear.
- Add mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and Italian seasoning (or other toppings).
- Fold dough over to form a half-moon shape and pinch edges tightly to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges.
- Brush tops lightly with olive oil.
- Place calzones in the air fryer basket (work in batches if needed).
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan if desired. Serve hot with extra marinara dipping sauce.
Notes
Seal calzones well to prevent cheese from leaking out during cooking. Avoid overfilling for best results.
