- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Toss cut potatoes with oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
- Place fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway through, until fries are golden and crispy.
- Transfer fries to a plate and immediately top with shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
- Return to the air fryer for 1–2 minutes to melt cheese completely.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and bacon bits if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
Use russet potatoes for best crispiness. Serve immediately for maximum texture. Can be customized with various toppings.
