Method
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Lightly butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place bread slices butter-side down and top with shredded cheeses.
- Sprinkle garlic powder and black pepper on top.
- Place slices in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap.
- Air fry for 5–6 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are golden brown.
- Remove carefully, garnish with chopped chives if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
Use day-old bread for extra crispiness. Mix different cheeses for more flavor. Best served immediately.
