Air Fryer Pizza Bombs

Crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, these Air Fryer Pizza Bombs are loaded with cheese, sauce, and your favorite pizza toppings. Perfect snack or quick meal!

Ingredients
  

Pizza Bombs
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough (or pizza dough) 12 pieces
  • 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup pepperoni or favorite pizza toppings chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning optional
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter for brushing

  • Mixing bowl

  • Baking sheet or parchment paper

Method
 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out each biscuit or portion of pizza dough into a flat circle.
  3. Place 1 tbsp of marinara sauce, 1 tbsp shredded cheese, and a few pieces of toppings in the center of each dough circle.
  4. Fold dough over the filling and pinch edges to seal completely, forming a ball.
  5. Brush each pizza bomb with olive oil or melted butter and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  6. Place pizza bombs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space for air circulation.
  7. Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and puffed, turning halfway if needed.
  8. Remove carefully, let cool for 2 minutes, and serve with extra marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle with parmesan cheese or crushed red pepper. These can be prepared ahead of time and frozen; cook directly from frozen with a few extra minutes in the air fryer.
