Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts pounded to even thickness
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 0.75 cup breadcrumbs or panko
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for brushing
Spicy Mayo
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 1-2 tsp hot sauce adjust to taste
Sandwich Assembly
  • 2 brioche buns lightly toasted
  • 2 lettuce leaves
  • 2 slices tomato
  • 4 slices pickles

Method
 

  1. Pat chicken breasts dry and pound to even thickness.
  2. Set up breading station with flour, egg, and breadcrumbs.
  3. Dredge chicken in flour mixture, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs. Drizzle or spray with olive oil.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  5. Air fry chicken for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Mix mayonnaise and hot sauce for spicy mayo.
  7. Assemble sandwiches with buns, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and cooked chicken. Spread spicy mayo on both bun halves.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

Adjust spice level in mayo to taste. Ensure chicken is cooked to 165°F for safety.
