Method
- Remove steaks from fridge and bring to room temperature for 20–30 minutes. Pat dry and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Brush steaks lightly with olive oil. Place in air fryer basket and cook 8–12 minutes, flipping halfway, depending on desired doneness.
- While steaks cook, melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Add garlic, sauté 1–2 minutes, then stir in thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Remove steaks from air fryer and rest 5 minutes.
- Top steaks with garlic butter before serving.
- Serve immediately with your choice of sides.
Notes
Use meat thermometer for accurate doneness. Optional herbs can be varied.
