Ingredients
  

  • 14 oz firm or extra-firm tofu pressed
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch or arrowroot powder
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds optional garnish
  • 1 tbsp green onions chopped, optional garnish

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Mixing bowl
  • Tofu press or paper towels

Method
 

  1. Press tofu for 15–20 minutes to remove moisture.
  2. Cut into 1-inch cubes.
  3. Mix soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, and paprika. Toss tofu cubes and marinate 10 minutes.
  4. Coat tofu with cornstarch evenly.
  5. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden and crispy.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, cook a few minutes longer. Store leftovers in fridge and re-crisp in air fryer.
