Ingredients
  

Puff Pastry Bites
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 4 oz Brie cheese cubed
  • 1 apple thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp cinnamon optional
  • 1 tbsp honey optional
  • 1 egg beaten, for egg wash

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Pastry brush

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out puff pastry and cut into 12 equal squares.
  3. Place a cube of Brie and 1–2 apple slices in the center of each square.
  4. Sprinkle with cinnamon and drizzle with honey if desired.
  5. Fold corners over filling and pinch edges to seal.
  6. Brush tops with beaten egg.
  7. Bake 15–18 minutes until puffed and golden.
  8. Cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

Serve warm for best texture. Can be prepped ahead and baked just before serving.
