  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 apple thinly sliced
  • 4 oz Brie cheese sliced
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp dried thyme
  • fresh thyme for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut a pocket into each chicken breast and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried thyme.
  3. Stuff each chicken breast with apple slices and Brie cheese. Secure with toothpicks if needed.
  4. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat and sear chicken 2–3 minutes per side.
  5. Transfer skillet to oven and bake 20–25 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove toothpicks, garnish with fresh thyme, and serve warm.

Notes

Use thinly sliced apples for easy stuffing. Let chicken rest 5 minutes after baking for juicier results.
