Crust
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
Cheesecake Filling
  • 24 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
Apple Layer
  • 3 cups apples peeled and sliced
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
Crisp Topping
  • 0.75 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter cold, cubed
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Prepare crust and pre-bake.
  2. Mix cheesecake filling until smooth.
  3. Pour filling over crust.
  4. Prepare apple mixture and layer on cheesecake.
  5. Add crisp topping.
  6. Bake until set and golden.
  7. Cool completely and chill before slicing.

Notes

Cool gradually to prevent cracking.
