Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh green beans trimmed
  • 8 slices bacon regular cut
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Blanch green beans in boiling water for 3 minutes, then plunge into ice water and pat dry.
  3. Toss beans in olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Divide beans into small bundles and wrap each with a slice of bacon.
  5. Arrange on baking sheet and roast 20–25 minutes until bacon is crispy and beans are tender.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with a sprinkle of salt or balsamic glaze.

Notes

For crispier bacon, pre-bake slices for 5 minutes before wrapping beans.
