Baked Dijon Salmon

Ingredients
  

For the Salmon
  • 4 salmon fillets about 6 oz each
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
For the Dijon Glaze
  • 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp whole grain mustard optional
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp paprika or smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme or dill optional
For Garnish
  • fresh parsley chopped
  • lemon slices for serving

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat salmon dry and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, and paprika.
  4. Brush glaze generously over each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake 12–15 minutes until salmon flakes easily. Garnish and serve warm.

Notes

For a crispier top, broil the salmon for 1–2 minutes at the end. Excellent with roasted vegetables or herbed rice.
