Ingredients
  

Blackberry Layer
  • 2 cups blackberries fresh
  • 0.33 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
Cream Layer
  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 0.75 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese softened
Assembly
  • 1 package ladyfinger cookies

Method
 

  1. Macerate blackberries with sugar and lemon juice.
  2. Whip cream, sugar, and vanilla, then fold in mascarpone.
  3. Dip ladyfingers briefly in blackberry juice.
  4. Layer ladyfingers, cream, and berries.
  5. Chill at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Best served chilled. Garnish just before serving for freshest presentation.
