Cookies
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp blood orange zest
  • 2 tbsp blood orange juice
Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp blood orange juice adjust as needed

Method
 

  1. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  2. Mix in egg, zest, juice, and vanilla.
  3. Add dry ingredients and mix gently.
  4. Bake until edges are set.
