  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Gruyère
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries or thawed frozen
  • 2 tsp honey or maple syrup optional

  • fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • sliced almonds optional for crunch
  • cinnamon pinch for warm flavor

Method

  1. Spread a thin layer of butter on one side of each bread slice.
  2. On the unbuttered side, spread cream cheese evenly. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.

  6. Carefully flip sandwich and cook another 3–4 minutes until second side is golden and cheese melts.
  7. If cheese hasn’t fully melted, cover skillet with a lid for 1–2 minutes.
  8. Remove from skillet, let rest 1–2 minutes, then slice diagonally.
  9. Optionally garnish with mint leaves or sliced almonds before serving.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy immediately.
