- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients.
- Fold in blueberries and optional white chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Cool for 5 minutes on baking sheet, then transfer to wire rack.
Notes
For extra flavor, add lemon zest or a drizzle of lemon glaze. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
