Ingredients
  

Chicken Filling
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 onion small, diced
  • 1 bell pepper diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 cup tomato sauce
  • 0.33 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • salt to taste

  • 4-6 sandwich buns

Method
 

  1. Heat oil in skillet and sauté onion and pepper until soft.
  2. Add garlic and cook briefly.
  3. Cook ground chicken until browned.
  4. Add spices, tomato sauce, and broth and simmer.
  5. Reduce heat and stir in cream, cream cheese, and Worcestershire.
  6. Cook until thick and creamy.
  7. Serve hot on toasted buns.

Notes

If sauce thickens too much while reheating, add a splash of broth or milk to restore creaminess.
