Main Ingredients
  • 6 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • 0.5 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1.5 cups powdered sugar
  • 6 candy canes crushed

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Plastic zip bag
  • Parchment paper

Method
 

  1. Place Chex cereal in a large bowl.
  2. Melt white chocolate in the microwave until smooth.
  3. Stir in peppermint extract.
  4. Pour chocolate over cereal and toss to coat.
  5. Add crushed candy canes.
  6. Transfer to bag, add powdered sugar, and shake to coat.
  7. Spread on parchment to cool and dry.

Notes

Adjust peppermint extract to taste — a little goes a long way.
