- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- Mash ripe bananas in a large bowl until mostly smooth.
- Add melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and espresso powder.
- Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients gently until just combined.
- Optional: fold in chopped nuts for added texture.
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60–70 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool loaf 10 minutes in pan, then transfer to wire rack.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over warm bread and garnish with crushed espresso beans.
Notes
For extra flavor, dissolve espresso powder in 1 tsp hot water before adding to batter.
