- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream softened butter until smooth in a mixing bowl.
- Mix in shredded cheddar cheese until evenly combined.
- Add jalapeños, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Gradually add flour and mix just until a dough forms.
- Shape dough into a 1-inch thick round and place on baking sheet.
- Score into wedges and bake for 35–40 minutes until lightly golden.
- Cool slightly, slice fully, and transfer to a wire rack.
