Ingredients
  

Marinade
  • 2 lbs chicken thighs boneless, skinless
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon juice 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp turmeric
  • 0.25 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Skillet or oven
  • Baking sheet (if oven)

Method
 

  1. Combine garlic, yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, and spices.
  2. Add chicken, coat, and marinate at least 2 hours.
  3. Preheat skillet or oven.
  4. Cook chicken 5–7 min per side (skillet) or 20–25 min (oven) until golden.
  5. Rest chicken 5 min, slice thinly.
  6. Serve in pita, over rice, or with vegetables.

Notes

Marinate overnight for maximum flavor.
