Method
- Peel and dice mangoes. Freeze if desired.
- Make simple syrup by heating sugar and water until dissolved. Cool.
- Blend mango, lime juice, lime zest, chili powder, and syrup until smooth.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or chili.
- Chill mixture for 1 hour.
- Freeze in ice cream maker or shallow container for ~4 hours.
- Serve garnished with lime zest, chili, or mint.
Notes
Sorbet can be stored in airtight container in freezer for up to 2 weeks. Let sit 5–10 minutes before scooping.
