Ingredients
  

Cream Cheese Mixture
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate Topping
  • 8 oz semi-sweet or milk chocolate melted
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter optional
  • Mini chocolate cups or candy molds optional

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Hand mixer
  • Spoon or piping bag
  • Parchment paper or mini molds

Method
 

  1. Beat cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar, peppermint extract, and vanilla. Mix until creamy.
  3. Spoon or pipe mixture into mini chocolate cups or onto parchment as buttons.
  4. Chill 15-20 minutes until slightly firm.
  5. Melt chocolate with butter until smooth.
  6. Drizzle or dip chocolate over each button.
  7. Refrigerate 30 minutes until chocolate is set.
  8. Serve chilled and store in airtight container.
