Ingredients
  

Donut Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup milk warm
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 egg large
Filling & Glaze
  • 12 pieces mini peanut butter cups
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips for glaze
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream optional for glaze
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Equipment

  • Baking sheet or fryer

Method
 

  1. Prepare donut dough according to your recipe, allowing it to rise or rest as needed.
  2. Shape dough into donuts or rounds and place on a prepared baking sheet or ready for frying.
  3. Bake or fry donuts until golden and fully cooked, then let cool slightly.
  4. Create a small cavity in each donut and insert a mini peanut butter cup or spoon in creamy peanut butter.
  5. Melt chocolate chips with heavy cream over low heat until smooth and glossy.
  6. Dip the top of each stuffed donut into the chocolate glaze or drizzle using a spoon.
  7. Optional: sprinkle crushed peanuts or festive decorations on top.
  8. Allow chocolate to set for 10–15 minutes at room temperature.
  9. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.

Notes

Donuts can be made ahead of time and filled just before serving for best texture. Freeze leftovers if needed.
