Method
- Prepare donut dough according to your recipe, allowing it to rise or rest as needed.
- Shape dough into donuts or rounds and place on a prepared baking sheet or ready for frying.
- Bake or fry donuts until golden and fully cooked, then let cool slightly.
- Create a small cavity in each donut and insert a mini peanut butter cup or spoon in creamy peanut butter.
- Melt chocolate chips with heavy cream over low heat until smooth and glossy.
- Dip the top of each stuffed donut into the chocolate glaze or drizzle using a spoon.
- Optional: sprinkle crushed peanuts or festive decorations on top.
- Allow chocolate to set for 10–15 minutes at room temperature.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
Notes
Donuts can be made ahead of time and filled just before serving for best texture. Freeze leftovers if needed.
