Ingredients
  

Chocolate Base
  • 7 oz dark chocolate chopped
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
Structure
  • 7 oz plain biscuits broken
  • 0.25 cup nuts optional, chopped

Equipment

  • Saucepan or double boiler
  • Mixing bowl
  • Parchment paper

Method
 

  1. Melt chocolate and butter until smooth.
  2. Stir in sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla.
  3. Fold in biscuits and nuts.
  4. Shape mixture into a log using parchment paper.
  5. Chill until firm.
  6. Roll in powdered sugar, slice, and serve.

Notes

Keeps well refrigerated for up to one week. Excellent make-ahead dessert.
