Ingredients
  

Bread Dough
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 2.25 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup milk warm
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 eggs large, room temperature
Cinnamon Sugar Filling
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter softened

Method
 

  1. Mix warm milk, yeast, and 1 tsp sugar. Let sit 5–10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add melted butter, eggs, and yeast mixture; mix into sticky dough.
  3. Knead dough 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1–1.5 hours until doubled.
  5. Mix sugar and cinnamon for filling.
  6. Roll dough into rectangle, spread butter, sprinkle cinnamon sugar, roll into loaf, and place in greased loaf pan.
  7. Cover and let rise 30–40 minutes until puffy.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30–35 minutes until golden. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.

Notes

Optional glaze can be drizzled on top. Store in airtight container for up to 3 days.
