Method
- Mix warm milk, yeast, and 1 tsp sugar. Let sit 5–10 minutes until frothy.
- Combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add melted butter, eggs, and yeast mixture; mix into sticky dough.
- Knead dough 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1–1.5 hours until doubled.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon for filling.
- Roll dough into rectangle, spread butter, sprinkle cinnamon sugar, roll into loaf, and place in greased loaf pan.
- Cover and let rise 30–40 minutes until puffy.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30–35 minutes until golden. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
Notes
Optional glaze can be drizzled on top. Store in airtight container for up to 3 days.
