Ingredients

Ham
  • 1 spiral-cut ham bone-in, approx. 8-10 lbs
Glaze
  • 2 cups Coca-Cola classic
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves optional
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter optional, for brushing

Equipment

  • Roasting pan
  • Basting brush
  • Meat thermometer
  • Mixing bowl

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Prepare a roasting pan and rack.
  2. Remove packaging and netting from ham. Pat dry with paper towels.
  3. In a bowl, mix Coca-Cola, brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, and cloves to make the glaze.
  4. Place ham on roasting rack, brush generously with glaze, and tent with foil.
  5. Bake according to weight, roughly 10–12 minutes per pound, basting every 20–30 minutes.
  6. Remove foil during last 30–40 minutes to allow glaze to caramelize, basting again.
  7. Check internal temperature; ham is ready at 140°F (60°C).
  8. Allow ham to rest 10–15 minutes before slicing along spiral cuts.
  9. Serve warm, optionally drizzle with extra glaze and garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes

For extra flavor, add orange juice or pineapple juice to the glaze. Leftovers can be used in sandwiches, salads, and soups.
