Ingredients
  

  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup imitation crab meat or real crab shredded
  • 2 green onions finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 0.5 tsp sesame oil optional
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg beaten, for sealing
  • oil for frying vegetable or canola

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, crab, green onions, garlic powder, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place wonton wrapper on surface, add 1 tbsp filling to center.
  3. Brush edges with egg and fold into a sealed bomb shape.
  4. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in deep pan or fryer.
  5. Fry bombs in batches for 2–3 minutes until golden.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with dipping sauce.

Notes

Best served fresh and hot. Pair with sweet chili, soy dipping sauce, or plum sauce.
