Ingredients
  

Main Casserole
  • 32 oz frozen tater tots
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk whole or 2%
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 slices cooked bacon crumbled
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 cup chopped green onions for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Arrange frozen tater tots evenly at the bottom of the dish.
  3. Whisk together eggs, milk, and heavy cream in a large bowl.
  4. Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to the egg mixture.
  5. In another bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and half of the shredded cheddar with the mozzarella.
  6. Spread cream mixture evenly over tater tots, then sprinkle with bacon.
  7. Pour the egg mixture evenly over everything, then top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes until golden and set in the center.
  9. Cool slightly, top with green onions, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Assemble the night before for an easy make-ahead breakfast. Add vegetables or use turkey bacon for lighter options.
