Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 baguette sliced into ½-inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 6 oz brie cheese sliced or cut into wedges
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce fresh or store-bought
  • 1 medium apple thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp chopped pecans or walnuts optional
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves optional garnish
  • honey optional drizzle

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Knife
  • Spatula

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Brush both sides of baguette slices lightly with olive oil or melted butter.
  3. Toast the slices on the baking sheet for 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp, flipping halfway through.
  4. Remove toasted slices and let cool slightly.
  5. Spread cranberry sauce on each slice.
  6. Top with a slice or wedge of brie cheese.
  7. Place a thin apple slice on top of the brie.
  8. Sprinkle chopped nuts and thyme leaves if using.
  9. Drizzle lightly with honey if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

Assemble just before serving to maintain crispness. Pair with sparkling wine or cider for festive occasions.
