Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Brush both sides of baguette slices lightly with olive oil or melted butter.
- Toast the slices on the baking sheet for 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp, flipping halfway through.
- Remove toasted slices and let cool slightly.
- Spread cranberry sauce on each slice.
- Top with a slice or wedge of brie cheese.
- Place a thin apple slice on top of the brie.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts and thyme leaves if using.
- Drizzle lightly with honey if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
Assemble just before serving to maintain crispness. Pair with sparkling wine or cider for festive occasions.
