- Sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let bloom 5–10 minutes.
- Heat cream, milk, and sugar in a saucepan until sugar dissolves; do not boil.
- Stir in bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
- Add eggnog, vanilla extract, and nutmeg; mix until smooth.
- Pour into individual glasses or ramekins and cool slightly.
- Refrigerate at least 4 hours or until set.
- Garnish with nutmeg, cinnamon sticks, and optional whipped cream.
