Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb sirloin steak sliced
  • 20 oz cheese tortellini refrigerated
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Pasta pot
  • Tongs
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Cook tortellini according to package instructions; reserve pasta water.
  2. Season and sear steak in hot skillet; remove and set aside.
  3. Melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add cream and parmesan, stirring until smooth.
  5. Toss in tortellini and steak, adding pasta water as needed.
  6. Simmer briefly and serve garnished with parsley.

Notes

Best served immediately while sauce is creamy.
