Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 1.5 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1.5 cups panko breadcrumbs
Bang Bang Sauce
  • 0.75 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.5 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tbsp honey

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Deep skillet or pot
  • Wire rack

Method
 

  1. Season chicken pieces lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Set up three bowls: flour mixture, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Coat chicken in flour, dip in egg, then coat in panko.
  4. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry chicken in batches until golden and cooked through.
  6. Drain on a wire rack.
  7. Whisk bang bang sauce ingredients together.
  8. Drizzle sauce over chicken and garnish before serving.

Notes

Sauce can be adjusted for heat or sweetness.
