Method
- Cut block mozzarella into sticks if needed and pat dry.
- Set up breading station: flour in one bowl, eggs and milk in another, panko mixture in a third.
- Coat each mozzarella stick in flour, then egg, then breadcrumb mixture. Repeat egg and breadcrumb coating for double coat.
- Freeze breaded sticks for at least 1 hour.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry 3-4 sticks at a time for 1-2 minutes until golden.
- Drain on paper towels and serve immediately with dipping sauce.
