Ingredients
  

Wings
  • 2 lbs chicken wings whole or separated
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • hot sauce optional for heat
  • salt and pepper to taste
For Glaze (Optional)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch optional thickener

Equipment

  • Slow cooker
  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Season the chicken wings lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Add the wings to the slow cooker.
  3. Whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, and hot sauce. Pour over the wings.
  4. Cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours.
  5. Transfer wings to a baking sheet and broil for 5–8 minutes to caramelize.
  6. Thicken remaining sauce with cornstarch if desired and drizzle over wings.

Notes

Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve with celery sticks and dipping sauces like ranch or blue cheese.
