Method
- Brown the ground beef or sausage and drain excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
- Transfer meat mixture to slow cooker.
- Add tomatoes, broth, tomato paste, and all seasonings.
- Cook on LOW 6–7 hours or HIGH 3–4 hours.
- Add broken lasagna noodles 30 minutes before serving.
- Mix ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan for the cheese topping.
- Serve hot with cheese mixture on top.
Notes
For extra richness, add a splash of cream before serving.
