Ingredients
  

Cucumber Base
  • 2 large English cucumbers sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • 0.5 tsp salt optional, for sprinkling
Toppings
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 tbsp Greek yogurt optional
  • 0.5 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 4 oz smoked salmon cut into bite-sized pieces
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • capers optional, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Slice cucumbers into ½-inch rounds. Pat dry with paper towels and sprinkle with salt if desired.
  2. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, Greek yogurt, lemon zest, and chopped dill. Mix until smooth.
  3. Spread a small dollop of cream cheese mixture onto each cucumber slice.
  4. Top each slice with a piece of smoked salmon.
  5. Garnish with fresh dill, black pepper, and optional capers.
  6. Arrange on a platter and serve immediately or refrigerate up to 2 hours.

Notes

Assemble just before serving for maximum freshness. Great for keto or low-carb parties.
