Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, these air fryer baked potatoes are quick, healthy, and perfect for dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 russet potatoes medium size
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp sour cream optional topping
  • 2 tbsp shredded cheddar cheese optional topping
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives chopped

Method
 

  1. Wash and scrub potatoes well, then pat dry with a towel.
  2. Pierce each potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape.
  3. Rub potatoes with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Place potatoes in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
  5. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Check doneness by piercing with a fork—the insides should be soft and fluffy.
  7. Cut open, fluff with a fork, and top with butter, sour cream, cheese, and chives.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy your perfectly crispy baked potatoes!

Notes

For an extra crispy skin, rub with coarse salt before cooking. Reheat leftovers in the air fryer for best texture.
