Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add condensed milk and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Roll dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place on baking sheet.
- Flatten slightly with a fork or keep rounded.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Tops should remain pale.
- Cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar.
Notes
Store in airtight container for up to 5 days. Freeze dough for longer storage and bake fresh as needed.
