Ingredients
  

Potatoes & Seasoning
  • 1.5 lbs Yukon Gold or red potatoes diced into ½-inch cubes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp paprika optional
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary optional

  • Spatula

Method
 

  1. Wash and dice potatoes into ½-inch cubes. Pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add potatoes in a single layer. Cook 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally until golden and crispy.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and herbs if using. Stir to coat evenly.
  5. Check that potatoes are tender inside and crispy on the outside.
  6. Garnish with parsley or cheese if desired and serve hot.

Notes

Dice potatoes ahead of time for quicker cooking. Customize with cheese or herbs to your preference.
