Ingredients
  

Bread Machine Ingredients
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast 2 ¼ tsp
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup water warm
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 2 tsp dried Italian herbs or 1 tbsp fresh

Equipment

  • Bread machine
  • Wire rack
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method
 

  1. Place ingredients in bread machine in recommended order: water, oil, sugar, salt, flour, herbs, yeast.
  2. Add shredded cheese during 'add-in' beep or after first knead cycle.
  3. Select basic or white bread cycle with medium crust and start machine.
  4. Once baking is complete, remove bread carefully and cool on wire rack 15 minutes.
  5. Slice warm or at room temperature. Serve as desired.

Notes

Store in airtight container 2–3 days. Freeze slices for longer storage.
