Method
- Heat olive oil in a skillet. Sauté onion, bell pepper, and garlic 3–4 minutes until softened.
- Add ground chicken and cook until no longer pink, breaking into small pieces.
- Stir in tomato paste, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Spoon chicken mixture onto toasted buns. Add optional toppings.
- Serve immediately with preferred sides.
Notes
Can adjust spice level with additional Cajun seasoning or cayenne pepper.
