Easy Dump-and-Bake Fried Rice

An oven-baked fried rice recipe made with uncooked rice, vegetables, eggs, and savory seasoning for a simple one-dish meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups long-grain white rice uncooked
  • 3 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 3 eggs lightly beaten
  • 2 tbsp butter

Equipment

  • Baking dish
  • Aluminum foil
  • Mixing spoon

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine rice, broth, soy sauce, sesame oil, and garlic in baking dish.
  3. Top with vegetables, eggs, and butter.
  4. Cover tightly and bake for 45 minutes.
  5. Stir, uncover, and bake 10–15 more minutes.
  6. Rest 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Stir well after uncovering to distribute eggs evenly.
