Brownie Filling
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 eggs large, room temperature
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
Crust
  • 1 unbaked pie crust 9-inch

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. Whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until glossy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then add vanilla extract.
  4. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Fold gently to combine.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips, then pour batter into pie crust.
  6. Bake 38–45 minutes until edges are set but center is still soft.
  7. Cool at least 20–30 minutes before slicing for gooey texture.

Notes

Serve warm with ice cream for extra indulgence. Chill before slicing for cleaner cuts.
