- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish.
- Whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until glossy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then add vanilla extract.
- Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Fold gently to combine.
- Stir in chocolate chips, then pour batter into pie crust.
- Bake 38–45 minutes until edges are set but center is still soft.
- Cool at least 20–30 minutes before slicing for gooey texture.
Notes
