Ingredients
  

Soup Base
  • 6 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
Vegetables
  • 1 cup napa cabbage sliced thin
  • 0.5 cup carrots julienned
  • 3 green onions chopped
Potstickers
  • 12 potstickers frozen or fresh, pork, chicken, or vegetable
Optional Garnish
  • green onions extra, sliced
  • sesame seeds optional
  • red chili flakes optional

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Combine broth, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a large pot. Bring to a gentle boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Stir in napa cabbage and carrots. Simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly tender.
  3. Gently add potstickers to the simmering broth. Cook 5–7 minutes for frozen or until fully cooked.
  4. Stir in chopped green onions and cook 1–2 more minutes.
  5. Ladle soup into bowls, garnish with extra green onions, sesame seeds, or red chili flakes, and serve hot.

Notes

Can be made with homemade or store-bought potstickers for convenience.
