Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp espresso powder
  • 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Cream butter and sugars until smooth.
  2. Mix in vanilla and espresso powder.
  3. Add flour, cocoa, and salt. Mix until dough forms.
  4. Shape dough into logs, wrap, and chill at least 2 hours.
  5. Slice into rounds and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes.
  6. Cool fully before serving.

Chilling is essential for clean slicing and proper texture.
