Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt butter in a skillet and sauté onion and celery until softened.
- Stir in sage, thyme, pepper, and chopped turkey.
- Add bread or stuffing mix to a bowl and pour the warm mixture over it.
- Add broth gradually until mixture is moistened but not soggy.
- Mix in cranberries and egg to bind.
- Shape into golf-ball-sized rounds and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes or until lightly crisp and golden.
- Serve warm with gravy or cranberry sauce.
Notes
Mixture can be made 1 day in advance and baked before serving. Keep warm in a slow cooker for parties.
