Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line baking sheet with parchment.
- Roll puff pastry to smooth creases.
- Spread fig jam evenly over pastry.
- Add goat cheese evenly across jam.
- Drizzle honey, sprinkle thyme and black pepper.
- Roll pastry tightly into a log.
- Freeze log for 10 minutes.
- Slice into ½-inch pinwheels.
- Brush with egg wash and bake 15–18 minutes.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Add prosciutto for a savory variation. Pinwheels can be prepared ahead and frozen before baking.
