Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 0.5 cup plain unsweetened yogurt
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter optional, xylitol-free
  • 1 tsp honey optional, for dogs over 1 year

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Silicone molds or ice cube tray

Method
 

  1. Mash the banana in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. Add the yogurt and stir until well combined.
  3. Mix in peanut butter and honey if using.
  4. Spoon or pour the mixture into silicone molds or an ice cube tray.
  5. Gently tap the mold/tray to remove air bubbles.
  6. Freeze for 2–3 hours or until fully solid.
  7. Pop the treats out of the mold and store in a freezer-safe container.
  8. Serve 1–3 pieces depending on your dog's size.

Notes

Keep servings small; not meant to replace meals. For senior dogs, allow treats to thaw slightly before serving. Use goat milk yogurt for dogs sensitive to dairy.
